Swim Team: ages 5-18
We’re excited to announce that the charter season for our Swim Team begins April 27th with registration. Might your family be the historical first family to sign up?
Regardless, history will be made all season long, as nearly every race at home will likely feature a new record set or a new record broken by one of our Lake Sharks. Your child could be a record holder!

HEAD COACH: STEVE SKINNER
Coach Skinner started working at Lake Kandle in the summer of 2000 and
served 12 seasons as our manager. He understands our commitment to our
members and that everything we do here is about providing a fun,
family oriented atmosphere.
Steve Skinner is also a very experienced and talented coach. For the
last 12 years, he has been head coach of Clearview Regional High
School’s Swim Team. During that span, Clearview has grown into one of
South Jersey’s top teams, making the playoffs 12 years in a row. Under
his tutelage, his swimmers have broken the majority of school records
and two of his swimmers have become state champions.
Assistant Head Coaches:
All absences are excused if accompanied by a note from the parent. Summer is about fun, and we understand that families have other obligations and take vacations. If you are away on vacation for the week, but will be able to make the meet, make sure you inform Coach Skinner after Friday’s practice that your child will be able to swim.
If something comes up before the meet and you are unable to attend, please get ahold of Coach Skinner immediately, so that he can adjust his swim meet roster. There would be nothing worse than to tell 3 other kids that they can’t swim in the relay because your child was a no-show.

The Pitman Panther’s Girls Track Team struck again at the 2013 West Deptford Relays held on Saturday April 14th. The Pitman girls (Sarah Meighan, Julia Viola, Hannah Vendetta and Kiersten Lapp) had winning performances in the 4 x 1600 meter and 4 x 800 meter relay races. The girls were looking to break the West Deptford Group I, 4 x 1600 relay record set in 2008 of 23:32.2 and their own school record of 23:20. The Pitman girls accomplished both their goals by running a record setting time of 22:47.26.
On Saturday April 6, 2013 the Pitman Girl’s Track team achieved a new milestone at the Camden Gloucester County Relay meet in Pennsauken NJ. The Pitman Girls Track team took first place in Division One, scoring 106 points in what can be only described as a total team effort by the girl runners and field throwers. The attached team photo shows the proud Panthers and their coaches holding their Division One Championship trophy. A second honor was awarded to Pitman’s Kiersten Lapp for being chosen as the Division One’s most valuable athlete.
Picture shows Kiersten and a few of her team mates holding the day’s winning trophies. L-R Sarah Meighan, Kiersten Lapp, Hannah Vendetta, Julia Viola
Congratulations to all the Pitman Panthers on the winning efforts.
